Product Manager

Own product strategy and execution to deliver customer and business outcomes. Translate user needs and market insights into a prioritized roadmap, aligning stakeholders across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.

Define product vision, goals, and success metrics; maintain a clear product roadmap.

Gather requirements through user research, data analysis, and stakeholder input; convert into actionable specifications.

Partner with engineering and design to scope, prioritize, and deliver features through the full product lifecycle.

Write and manage product requirements (e.g., PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and drive backlog refinement.

Run experiments and iterate using analytics, A/B testing, and qualitative feedback.

Coordinate launches with marketing, sales, and support; ensure enablement and documentation are ready.

Monitor performance post-launch and drive continuous improvement based on KPIs and customer feedback.

Product management expertise across discovery, delivery, and iteration.

Analytical skills with ability to define KPIs and make data-informed decisions.

Communication and stakeholder management to align cross-functional teams.

Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Customer-centric mindset with strong problem framing and prioritization.

As the IT Product Manager for the Central Client Management team, you will be responsible for the strategy and roadmap of the Customer Data IT products within SAP BP. You will ensure that these products meet the needs of our internal business customers from the Bank, Non-life, and Life & Pension Business Units. You will lead the roadmap of a multidisciplinary DevOps team consisting of four sub-teams, playing a central role in all digital customer processes for these units. You do this in close collaboration with an Engineering manager who is responsible for the hiring and development of the engineers and their engineering practice.

Product Strategy: Develop and implement the product vision and strategy for Customer Data IT products, focusing on customer needs and market developments. Develop and manage the corresponding budget plan

Team Leadership: Direct, guide and coach the 4 Product Owners within the subteams, ensuring alignment with OKRs

Stakeholder Management: Manage a diverse and complex stakeholder landscape with excellent communication and collaboration. Effective stakeholder management is crucial to align expectations and integrate feedback into product development

Robust IT Change Delivery: Ensure a solid IT change delivery process with reliable timelines. This is essential to maintain the continuity of services and meet stakeholder expectations

Stable Run Delivery: Guarantee a stable run delivery of the Customer Data IT products to ensure smooth operational processes and enhance customer satisfaction

Performance Management: Set clear objectives for your team and hold them accountable for achieving these goals

You are experienced in working in an Agile environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are foundational. Additionally, you possess:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in computer science or a related field

5-10 years of experience as a product owner or project/program manager, including developing and implementing product vision and strategy for business customers in the financial industry

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders

Proven track record of IT change delivery with reliable timelines and stable IT operational delivery

Experience in directing, guiding, and coaching team members

Familiarity with working with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)

Experience with SAP (BP) and its application in customer processes of an insurance company is a plus
