Medior SAP QA Engineer

Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of SAP solutions by planning, executing, and improving test activities across SAP modules and integrated systems.

Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP applications and interfaces.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.

Validate SAP configurations, enhancements, and transports across environments (DEV/QA/PROD).

Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers, SAP consultants, and product owners to resolve issues.

Support test data creation, environment readiness, and release validation activities.

Contribute to QA process improvements, test automation opportunities, and quality metrics reporting.

Experience in QA/testing for SAP landscapes (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and related modules.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and SDLC/STLC.

Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).

Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios.

Familiarity with SAP integration points (IDoc, RFC, APIs) and end-to-end process testing.

Clear communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional, Agile teams.

Test automation exposure (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, SAP CBTA, Selenium) and basic SQL/data validation.

Experience with performance or security testing in SAP contexts.

Design, maintain, and execute automated tests using Playwright for SAP-related applications and connected services

Translate functional and technical requirements into clear test scenarios, with attention to risk, reliability, and business value

Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across SAP and surrounding systems

Work closely with engineers, functional specialists, Product Owners, and other QA professionals to improve quality from refinement to release

Analyze defects, identify root causes, and help the team continuously improve test coverage, automation practices, and delivery confidence

Support operational activities such as monitoring and incident management to help keep related services stable and reliable

Salary between €4,527 and €6,036 based on 36 hours and depending on your knowledge and experience

You have medior-level experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably in a complex IT environment

You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright; this is a prerequisite for the role

Experience with Tosca in combination with SAP is considered a strong preference

You enjoy working closely with others, ask the right questions, and contribute to a team culture where people can rely on one another. You are comfortable working in a complex SAP environment and are willing to actively build up domain, process and system knowledge during the first period
