At Microsure in Eindhoven, we are developing a new first-of-a-kind microsurgery robot. By reducing the tremor and scaling down the movements of the surgeon, we can for example (re)connect extremely small blood and lymphatic vessels. This is extremely important for example when performing breast reconstruction surgery.

We are looking for a talented, proactive and pragmatic Senior Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our Microsurgical robot.

You are part of the Verification Team in which you will be reporting to the Program Director. In addition you are a sparring partner in the System Team which consist of a System, Software, Electrical and a Mechanical Architect. You will make a difference in bringing your expertise in mechatronics and automation with great attention to detail. You are responsible for defining strategies, designing test specifications on unit, subsystem and system level to verify the functionality, performance, safety and compliance of our robotic system used for microsurgical procedures.

Define overall Integration & Verification Strategy;

Oversee verification plans and track tool validation programs (budget, effort, time);

Proactively develop test protocols to assess the safety performance and reliability of our medical robotics systems;

Collaborate closely with the design and development teams to understand system requirements and ensure verification activities align with product specifications;

Ensure repeatable, traceable test cases and proactively collect and analyze test data, perform root cause analysis, and provide detailed reports on test results, highlighting any deviations or anomalies;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address identified issues (e.g. integration work) and participate in the resolution process in a pragmatic and solution-oriented manner;

Oversees verification related quality procedures ;

Oversees the Equipment calibration program;

Oversees verification tooling and equipment realization and timely initiation;

Oversees complete verification phase (+ requirement coverage traceability matrix).

You are a pro-active and hands-on Senior Verification Engineer who likes to get things done in a friendly, hardworking, international start-up environment.

MSc or PhD degree in electrical, mechanical, robotics, software or technical oriented;

Proven 5-8 years of working experience, preferably in the healthcare sector;

You live in the Netherlands, and you are in the possession of a valid visa;

Able to lead design, verification and tool validation activities;

Experienced in coordinating, guiding and coaching less experienced colleagues;

Good stakeholder management skills; overseeing different interests and connecting stakeholders;

Good knowledge of product related standard IEC 60601;

Basic knowledge of tool scripting and automation;

Excellent knowledge of working within a regulated environment;

Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken);

Enthusiasm for working in a start-up / scale-up environment with dynamic requirements;

Positive attitude, integrity, flexibility, can-do mentality;
