Where are you going to work?
510, the Netherlands Red Cross data and digitalisation initiative
510 improves humanitarian aid by developing data and digital solutions for our partners, as part of the International Assistance Division of the Netherlands Red Cross (NLRC). Since 2016, 510 has grown into a team of 60 staff, students and volunteer experts, divided across the data team, the digital team and the operations team. Our partners are national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, the IFRC and the ICRC, with a focus on Cash & Voucher Assistance, Anticipatory Action, Response Readiness and Digital Community Engagement & Accountability.
We are looking for a Data & Information Manager to help the team keep an existing cash and voucher programme running and continue to improve it for our national department. The School Meals Programme has been running since 2023, and the core systems (the registration and onboarding system, the 121 payment platform and the RedLine contact centre) are now fully operational. As a member of the 510 team, you ensure these systems keep running smoothly for end users, pick up improvement requests and set clear priorities. You'll be part of 510's data team, meaning you'll join a team of 15 data and information managers.
Cash and voucher assistance for school meals.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) is working with the Jeugdeducatiefonds (Youth Education Fund) and the Red Cross on this programme, which ensures children don't go to school hungry. Since 2023, the programme has supported thousands of pupils every year via EspoCRM and the 121 platform (case management and vouchers) and the RedLine contact centre (integrated with Amazon Connect). As Data & Information Manager, you maintain these systems, resolve day-to-day issues for end users, and further develop functionalities and workflows.
Curious what this looks like in practice? Visit the programme website or watch videos of schools talking about the programme's impact .
We value diversity — in backgrounds and experiences. The insights of all our team members are essential to our success.

- Support end users of the systems (programme staff and contact centre staff) with system use and resolving day-to-day issues
- Help document best practices and (data) product development, building on what the team has already built
Within 6 months
- Identify necessary system improvements and translate them into system requirements for the CRM and 121 platform team.
