Are you an experienced Medium Voltage Engineer seeking complex industrial and energy projects? Join our client's expanding multidisciplinary team and lead innovative electrical engineering solutions from concept to commissioning.

Our client is an established engineering consultancy providing multidisciplinary engineering, design, and project delivery services for energy and industrial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Electrical Engineering team with an experienced Lead / Senior Electrical Engineer specialising in Medium Voltage (MV) systems.

In this role, you will engineer and deliver medium voltage electrical systems from concept to commissioning. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop high-quality solutions for industrial and utility projects.

Your responsibilities include developing technical documentation, preparing SLDs, protection schemes, calculations, and specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. You will design medium voltage switchgear, substations, transformers, distribution networks, and protection systems.

As a senior team member, you will provide technical leadership, coordinate with stakeholders, support testing and commissioning, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to improving engineering standards and processes.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering

Minimum of 12 years' experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on Medium Voltage systems

Proven experience working with MV substations, MV switchgears, transformers and electrical distribution networks, Protection and Control systems, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), MV cable sizing and cable calculations.

Exprience in developing technical specifications and detailed engineering documentation.

Experience performing load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies is highly desirable

Experience supporting FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities

Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects and work independently within multidisciplinary engineering teams

Knowledge of High Voltage (HV) systems is considered an advantage

Experience working on international and multidisciplinary engineering projects is a plus

Familiarity with European engineering standards and regulations is preferred

Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills
