Technical buyer

Vink Recruitment is actively recruiting for a Technical buyer  with an MBO+ / HBO level of education and a completed technical degree. Experience in a similar role within a production, engineering, or piping environment is essential. Our client is a global player in the engineering, design and manufacturing of equipment in a large variety of industries

Procurement & Preparation: Ensure the timely and efficient procurement of materials and subcontracted services for technical projects.

Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate the best deals, and ensure quality standards are met.

Technical & Organizational Support: Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize procurement and work preparation processes.

Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve workflows and increase efficiency.

Quality & Delivery Assurance: Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining high-quality standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Educational Background: MBO+ / HBO degree in a technical field.

Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a production, engineering, or piping environment.

IT Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office. Experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault is a plus.

Technical Knowledge: Ability to read technical drawings and a solid understanding of production methods with a focus on quality.

Soft Skills: Pragmatic, analytical, precise, and stress-resistant. Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Languages: Proficiency in Dutch is mandatory , along with strong English communication skills.
