As a commissioning engineer, you independently perform commissioning and service and maintenance work on electrical installations on board yachts at the location in Aalsmeer.

You fix malfunctions in sensors, cabling, system cabinets and other installation parts by replacing parts, adjusting settings, repairing parts, etc. You actively think along with problems that have arisen. Afterwards you prepare the service reports.

In addition, new installations to be delivered will be commissioned by you, such as battery systems, hybrid installations and propulsion installations. You test the cabling, sensors and systems for proper operation. You track down sources of interference and, of course, also fix them.

It can happen that a yacht somewhere in the world breaks down. You therefore have no problem getting on a plane every now and then to fix the malfunction and help the client get back on track as quickly as possible.

A completed education in Electrical Engineering

Several years of work experience in a similar position (maritime industry)

Knowledge of dredging technology and processes, automation technology (basic knowledge), high voltage technology (basic knowledge)

VCA-Vol or you are willing to obtain this

Knowledge of standards, safety regulations, quality and inspection requirements

Knowledge of the English language in word and writing

Someone who performs well under high pressure
