Certara accelerates medicines to patients, partnering with life science innovators.  Together with their partners, they advance modern drug development with modeling and simulation, regulatory science, and market access solutions.

For their office located in Oss, The Netherlands, we are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team. You will support this team in the field of monthly recurring processes.

The team you are part of is responsible for correct and timely closures of various European entities. In this position you support the accountants in various areas. You will assist in payroll administration, create purchase orders, setting up transactional process in a new tool and analyzing the correctness of the financial accounts.

In addition, you help your colleague accountants with the month-end closings, which gives you the opportunity to develop in this area. Depending on the software to be purchased, the activities in your roll can be changed.

Since you are an important link in the financial processes, you must be able to communicate well with suppliers and internal customers. In addition to the Dutch language, we also ask for the English language, German language is an advantage.

You are used to work within an international environment or accounting firm for at least 3 years. You have a completed degree in finance. In addition, you can easily find your way in ERP systems. Exporting data and comparing it in Excel.

You can manage changing and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Also, you have the ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential information & use utmost discretion.

Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills, are self-motivated and you are used to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency.
