Senior Credit Risk Manager – Human Investment Management

My client, an entrepreneurial bank, is looking for an experienced Credit Risk Manager with a focus on Mortgages. The ideal candidate is strong in communication and pro-active as the role entails close collaboration with business lines and other risk management departments. This is to ensure that there is strong policy adherence and that Financial Risks are detected and monitored and when necessary controlled or mitigated. The coming years their mortgage portfolios will increase. They will need to step up. You will be part of that.

Contribute to a future proof Financial Risk Management function by identifying areas of improvement for the risk framework, processes and steering.

You will become part of the Credit Risk Committee and contribute to the Credit Risk steering.

Collaborate with Business Lines on future developments.

Collaborate with other Risk departments such as Compliance and Operational Risk on identified risks in their mortgage portfolio to ensure that we are in control from all risk perspectives.

Master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field

At least 7 years of experience in financial risk management

At least 5 years of experience in Mortgages

Strong analytical skills. You can interpret risk reports and can absorb a vast amount of information

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Strong collaboration skills and a ‘can do attitude’.

Experience in setting up new mortgages products

Knowledge of banking regulation and mortgage regulation (both prudential and consumer related)

Experience in working in 2LoD Credit Risk, including product approval processes (and collaboration with other 2LOD stakeholders)

Preference for being fluent in Dutch (given all Dutch internal and external stakeholders)
