Operational Risk Manager – Human Investment Management

We are looking for an Operational Risk Manager to join the second line Operational Risk Management (ORM) team. As member of a second line team your responsibilities include developing and implementing risk policies and guidelines, implementing regulations, raise risk awareness, advise on, and challenge the outcome of risk assessments and control testing, monitor and report on the operational risk profile within this organization.

The Operational Risk Management team (ORM) consists of 6 dedicated risk specialists in the second line, who maintain the operational risk framework of the bank. You will work closely with other teams within the bank and report to the Head of ORM.

We are looking to hire an Operational Risk Manager. As Operational Risk Manager, you are a dedicated team player with a hands on mentality and result oriented. Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

You think and operate on an academic level supported by a master’s degree, in for example Accountancy (e.g., RA/RO), Economics, Business Administration or IT (e.g., RE);

At least 4 years of experience in (external or internal) audit and/or risk management;

Experience within banking/financial services. A good understanding of retail banking processes and relevant regulations

A strong understanding of risk and control frameworks and the ability to identify process risk and assess controls design/implementation;

Fluency in English and preferably Dutch (both written and oral).
