Clinical specialist TAVI at Medtronic (fulltime)

As a Clinical Analyst for TAVI you are advising on the selection of patients for the TAVI procedures via TF- Sub Clavian and Direct Aorta procedures (CoreValve- Evolut R devices).  In addition you are also judging cases for the Forward Study. Patients will be selected by interpreting MSCT/Echo (2D-3D) and Angiograms. Cases are coming from all over the world except the United States and Japan .

We offer you a specialist position within our team, which is a part of the Cardiovascular Business Unit within Medtronic. Based on interpreting MSCT-, Echo (2D-3D)- and Angiographic images plus the clinical data(history) of a patient, you judge if the patient is a possible candidate for the CoreValve/Evolut R procedure. Your role is an advising role for colleagues and physicians. The findings of your analysis and the advice are documented in a report which is send to the physician/hospital. You will be in close contact with the physician to ensure a fast and accurate process.

In addition, you will be responsible for training and advising costumers, colleagues or other stake holders for the CoreValve/Evolut R patient selection procedure, also during congresses and seminars .

Preferred: MSCT- and Angio graphic experience.

Experience with judging ECHO (2D/3D imaging)

Bachelor diploma, e.g. as Ultra Sound specialist focused on Cardiology, CCU/IC nurse, radiographic specialist
