Senior Planner

For our sister company, Melle Transport, we are looking for a Senior Planner employee. Melle Transport is a growing logistics service provider in the North Rotterdam region. They specialize in transporting sea containers, both nationally and internationally. They handle temperature-controlled transport and IMO cargoes. Daily, they work with a team of five and have a fleet of a total of 40 vehicles.

You and your colleagues ensure that the trucks are scheduled.

Proactively communicate with your customers and various warehouses and customer service teams in Europe.

Support your colleagues with problem cases or emergencies.

Ensure that the trucks are utilized optimally, such as combining imports and exports.

Keep an overview of the entire fleet so you can provide the right solutions for specific customer requests.

As the lead planner, you will support the management with tasks such as coordinating with customers, troubleshooting, and handling damage claims.

You are a team player, stress-resistant, and not afraid of a challenge.

Your colleagues can always turn to you for questions or support.

It is essential that you are familiar with the planning of international container transport.

You have the potential/ambition to lead and enjoy contributing ideas about business operations.

You are proficient in Dutch, English, and German.
