For our sister company, Melle Transport, we are looking for a logistics administrative employee. Melle Transport is a growing logistics service provider in the North Rotterdam region. They specialize in transporting sea containers, both nationally and internationally. They handle temperature-controlled transport and IMO cargoes. Daily, they work with a team of five and have a fleet of a total of 40 vehicles. You will be responsible for, among other things, handling transport requests, order entry, and rate entry on a daily basis. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for colleagues and customers.

You are the central point of contact for colleagues and customers in the logistics area.

Accepting and processing orders in planning and E-Lips, our TMS system.

Checking orders for completeness and accuracy.

Working with Portbase to register containers at the terminals.

As a Logistics Administrative Employee, you are committed to quality for your customer. You can identify with the following points:

Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages; German is desired.

Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding road transport is preferred.

Ability to work under pressure, be proactive, communicatively skilled, and enthusiastic.

You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality and are a team player.
