Supplier sustainability manager - ESG Executive

The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement ESG sustainability team is looking for a new colleague who focusses on reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions in our supply chain.

As part of the SS&P ESG sustainability team, your main responsibilities include:

Developing and executing action- and improvement plans on ESG in general and /or a focus on GHG emissions.

Drive GHG Neutral commitment of our supply chain.

Understanding and implementing CSRD requirements for the ASML supply chain in conjunction with ASMLs current ESG strategy and GHG emissions.

Developing policy and strategy for GHG reduction with relevant internal (e.g. re use team) and external stakeholders.

Drive embedding GHG emissions in SS&P ways of working.

Together with SS&P ESG team organization of events/workshops for suppliers to share best practices and knowledge about circularity (e.g. re use, waste reduction) and other relevant ESG themes. Representing ASML SS&P in ESG and/or in (inter)national partnerships.

8+ years of relevant experience in (Sustainability) strategy and/or execution, preferably in a corporate, technology-related environment

Master-level education in a relevant field, compliance/reporting background is a ‘pre’

Experience in GHG emissions, ESG reporting frameworks and ESG indices

Ability to manage topics/projects simultaneously and collaborate across functions

Experience in implementing ESG reporting requirements in a large company is a plus

Within this organization the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) department is responsible for all supplier interactions. You will be working in the team of Business, Performance and Strategy (BP&S), a team of professionals that support the SS&P clusters with Analytics, Project & Portfolio Management, Supplier Performance & Risk Management, contract management and supplier communication. Our team is based in Veldhoven, we have adopted hybrid working: we work both from the office and from home.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the   United States   Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
