As the IT&D Manager-Sustainability, you will lead and manage the development and implementation of IT solutions that support the company’s sustainability goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, driving innovation and scalability to support Essential Home’s business strategy.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, pragmatic and loves a challenge. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are action and result oriented.  You will drive initiatives that enhance environmental performance, reduce carbon footprint, and promote sustainable practices across the organization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into IT operations and business processes.

Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative technologies and best practices in sustainability.

Define and prioritize IT projects and initiatives that contribute to sustainability goals.

Monitor and report on the performance of sustainability initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards in all IT projects and operations.

Provide training and support to employees on the use of sustainable IT solutions and practices.

Advocate for sustainability within the organization and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter with a high sense of ownership and accountability.

You are collaborative and build bridges internally and externally.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in IT project management, with a focus on sustainability initiatives.

Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in using project management tools and software.

A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for sustainability.
