As a (Lead) Designer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing design solutions that align with client requirements and project objectives. You will oversee the entire design process, from concept development to detailed design, ensuring each project is efficient and constructible. Working closely with cross-disciplinary teams, you will set and maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and collaboration.

Lead design efforts for projects, focusing on:

Translating client requirements into effective designs.

Developing concepts with cost-effective innovations.

Conducting basic and detailed designs with a focus on constructability.

Creating and controlling 3D models to align with Basis of Design elements.

Take ownership of deliverables, including drawings, isometrics, material take-offs (MTOs), lists, and reports.

Ensure quality compliance using workflow software.

Foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Strong understanding of the offshore design environment, including limitations and best practices.

Proficient in specifications, materials, and design rules for offshore applications.

Skilled in design tools such as AutoCAD, Tekla, and/or SolidWorks; familiarity with VR tools is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (more seniority is advantageous).

Dutch-speaking, or willing to learn for effective team integration.

Schiedam office/ Hybrid Working possibilities
