Please note: this role is part of a fully continuous four-shift system. It asks for flexibility in your rhythm — in return you get several consecutive days off at each shift changeover, and considerably higher pay (see below).

You will join a technology-driven manufacturing company in the Venlo region, part of an international parent group. This is a large, highly automated production environment where orders come in digitally and are turned into finished products for customers across Europe every day. Not a traditional factory: a modern setting where technology, data and craftsmanship come together.

Following an expansion of production capacity with a new production line, we are looking for five Shift Supervisors who want to become the beating heart of the floor: leading people, keeping processes sharp and putting safety first.

You lead your shift from start to finish. You open the day with a short team meeting around the core themes — safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity — so everyone knows where things need to go.

You coach your people: you give feedback, guide them and help them grow. You are on the floor yourself, because that is where you solve things. When quality or a process runs into trouble, you analyse and act. And you work closely with the Maintenance and Quality teams to keep the environment safe, organised and efficient.

The experienced supervisor — you have at least three years of experience leading a shift in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The talent — you haven't done it all yet, but you have persuasiveness, a growth mindset and the drive to lead.

You communicate easily and solve problems. You are a team player.

English is required — written and spoken. Dutch and/or German is a strong plus.

MBO+ level or equivalent, technical or business-oriented. Knowledge of process optimisation (Lean) and experience with operations or fast-paced production environments are welcome.

If you come from a high-volume, high-tempo environment — where speed and consistent quality go hand in hand — that is a strong plus.

€ 72,900–81,000 bruto/year excl. 8% holiday pay

Base salary: € 54,000 – € 60,000 gross per year

Four-shift allowance: 35% on top of the base salary

Together roughly € 72,900 – € 81,000 gross per year

Direct employment with the client — a one-year contract, with the prospect of a permanent position afterwards

25 days of annual leave, with the option to buy 5 more

Net travel allowance in line with the scheme
