We are seeking an experienced Construction Fitter for Heavy Steel Construction. As a Construction Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting together heavy steel components for various construction projects. The primary focus will be on working with carbon steel and CO2 welding techniques.

Proven experience as a Construction Fitter or similar role in heavy steel construction.

Proficient in working with carbon steel and utilizing CO2 welding techniques.

Strong knowledge of reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Familiarity with various construction tools and equipment.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and assembly.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the required components and assembly process.

Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment needed for construction projects.

Cut, shape, and weld carbon steel components using CO2 welding techniques.

Ensure accurate measurements and alignment of steel components during assembly.

Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure the structural integrity of the completed construction.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Adhere to project timelines and meet project deadlines.
