Hiring for the Data Department: We are seeking exceptional individuals for our data department. As a Senior Principal Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in collecting, modeling, and structuring complex data sets. Your primary focus will be developing robust data pipelines and creating analytical products. You will collaborate with project teams to design end-to-end solutions for data products. Proficiency in both on-premise and cloud environments is required, along with coding skills. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) is essential.

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

Strong team player with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud.

Knowledge of SQL, Python, data pipelines, API access, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, data architecture, data storytelling, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

2 days at the office, 3 days remote working.

You will be joining a team of 20 individuals who are passionate about data and technology. The team works collaboratively in English.

Setting up cloud OTAP environments for platforms such as Azure, AWS, DataBricks (10 hrs).

Developing analytical end products using tools like PowerBI, Cognos (15 hrs).

Training and mentoring business consultants and junior developers in cloud technology applications (5 hrs).

Contributing to the development of Valcon’s Cloud proposition (5 hrs).

Building and nurturing relationships with current and prospective customers (5 hrs).
