Sr. Principal Data Anlyst | Data Science District
As a Senior Principal Data Analyst, you play a crucial role in analyzing data and designing end-to-end data solutions. You act as the point of contact for both the business and your data engineer colleagues. Your strong communication skills enable you to understand business processes quickly and effectively collaborate with your team to deliver successful end-products. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Data Modelling, SQL, and possibly R/Python is beneficial.
Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills with excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Experience in data analysis using SQL, Python, and/or R.
Familiarity with business intelligence, reporting, and dashboarding.
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies is advantageous.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSc).
Master’s degree in Computer Science (MSc).
Familiarity with Agile Project Management.
2 days per week at the office, 3 days remote.

The Team: The team consists of 20 people who primarily communicate in English.
Understand business processes and translate business needs into data requirements for (cloud-based) data solutions, such as data platforms or dashboards: 8 hrs.
Translate business questions into concrete and testable hypotheses: 4 hrs.
Analyze data sets and prepare workload for data engineers and modelers: 8 hrs.
Support analytical end results through appropriate data visualization using tools like PowerBI: 4 hrs.
Train and guide junior consultants in the above responsibilities: 4 hrs.
Co-develop Valcon’s Data Analysis and Data Modelling propositions: 8 hrs.
Build and maintain a relevant network with current and new customers: 4 hrs.
