Global Client Manager - Amsterdam

WPP Media is looking for a Global Client Manager to act as the connective layer between global media strategy and local execution. In this critical role, you will support the Global Client Lead in managing multi-market teams, driving consistency, and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on brief, and aligned with our clients' strategic goals.

What You Will Do

Global Coordination: Act as the central hub across local market teams, ensuring global strategies are effectively translated into local activation plans while troubleshooting delivery challenges.

Client Management: Support the Global Client Lead to deliver the growth agenda, build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and manage queries and escalations.

Media Planning: Contribute to integrated global media plans (online and offline), support the briefing process, and identify insights for campaign optimization.

Commercial & Financial Tracking: Oversee cross-market budget management, scoping, forecasting, reconciliations, and adherence to contracts and scopes of work.

Operational Excellence: Drive consistency in tools, processes, and reporting. Ensure compliance with global contracts, frameworks, and performance metrics.

Internal Collaboration: Work closely with specialist network teams (strategy, investment, analytics, finance) and contribute to new business pitches and organic growth.

Who You Are

You have 3+ years of experience in media, marketing, or client management.

You have a strong understanding of media planning across both digital and offline channels.

You possess solid financial acumen and hands-on experience managing budgets and workflows.

You bring excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

You are a strong communicator, adept at stakeholder management, and fluent in English (written and spoken).

Bonus: Experience in international or multi-market account coordination is preferred, though strong single-market experience will be considered.
