As a Compliance & Legal Officer, no day is the same! Your goal is to advise and support the organization. The Compliance & Legal department is responsible for the entire set of measures, which focuses on the implementation, enforcement and compliance with laws and regulations as well as internal procedures and codes of conduct to safeguard the reputation and integrity of the organization.

The periodic preparation of the (regular and special) ACM reports;

Periodically test whether the organization is compliant on the basis of random samples and audits (and risk analyses);

Assessing and handling requests/complaints/disputes with customers, suppliers, employees, supervisors;

Drafting, assessing briefs and pleading before the Disputes Committee

Assessing and handling data subject requests in the area of ​​GDPR privacy rights;

Drawing up/supplementing the work instructions;

Assessing and drafting legal (information) documents;

Creating compliance awareness and strengthening knowledge and skills in the organization in the field of compliance through, among other things, training, presentations and the dissemination of information;

Answering and providing support for legal questions;

Identifying changes or additions to legislation and regulations.

You have completed a (relevant) HBO/WO education in the legal field;

You have at least 1 year of work experience in a similar position, preferably as a lawyer or compliance officer at a business service provider;

You are available at least 36 to 40 hours per week;

You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations;

You have knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel);

Knowledge of / affinity with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (pré);

You work accurately and have strong communication skills

You have numerical insight, persuasiveness, good judgment and can create support;

You have knowledge of the energy sector (advantage).

A gross starting salary between €3,255 and €4,500 (depending on education and experience), plus 8% holiday pay;

24 days of vacation (+ the option to buy more);
