Senior Product Compliance Specialist (Drinking Water Technology)

You ensure that products comply with regulations in more than 15 countries, with more to follow.

You thrive in collaborating with various stakeholders, both nationally and internationally.

As a Product Compliance Specialist , you are responsible for ensuring that the products meet all relevant laws and regulations throughout their entire lifecycle. You oversee the compliance process from product development to market entry in new countries, including Canada, the US, Australia, and key Asian markets. This role focuses on electrical standards, mechanical safety, and hygiene regulations. You will collaborate closely with external certification bodies to ensure products meet the highest international standards.

You will be part of a dynamic Expertise Team within a rapidly growing R&D department of 60-70 colleagues. You will work alongside another Product Compliance Specialist, reporting directly to the R&D Manager. Additionally, you will lead the innovation team and work closely with international stakeholders to manage audits and certifications successfully.

Ensure that products comply with international laws and regulations, focusing on electrical standards, mechanical safety, and hygiene.

Create structure and maintain oversight within the compliance process, building support across the organization.

Collaborate with internal departments, country managers, and certification bodies to ensure successful product audits.

Advise on CE marking, RoHS, REACH, and other relevant certifications to maintain global compliance.

Develop and enhance the compliance structure within the organization.

Lead international projects focused on compliance, with an emphasis on new markets such as North America, Australia, and Asia.

At least 2-3 years of experience in product compliance, preferably in consumer products.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree, with an affinity for technology.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to bring structure to complex processes.

Experience working in an international environment and managing audits and certifications.

Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

You speak Dutch or are willing to learn it.

You are proactive, highly analytical, and comfortable working in a technical environment.
