The role of the Team Lead Data Analytics is to:

Define and take responsibility for Internal Audit's data analytics activities across the department

Lead the integration of data analytics into Internal Audit annual planning process and overall methodology / ways of working

Provide subject matter expert guidance to Data Analytics Managers

Lead the delivery of specific analytics-driven audits

Work with the BPM programme and IT Management to promote and leverage cross-functional analytics activities and platforms

Be the custodian of the IAD data analytics platforms.

Lead the integration of data analytics into Internal Audit annual planning and risk assesment process. Participate in the preparation of the Internal Audit Annual Plan:

Integrate data analytics into Internal Audit Assignment Planning which set out the objectives and scope of audit assignments

Lead the delivery of analyics-driven audit assignments under the supervision and guidance of the Director Internal Audit and in collaboration with other Managers Internal Audit, ensuring that they are completed within the allotted timeframe

Define and take responsibility for Internal Audit's data analytics activities across the department. Be the custodian of the Internal Audit data analytics platforms used by the Internal Audit Department

Significantly contribute to the continuous improvement of the activities of the Internal Audit Department by acting as a subject matter expert for data analytics

Perform any other tasks given by the direct line manager

Relevant university degree or professional qualification such as accounting, finance, business economics, or IT

Minimum of 5 years work experience in external audit, internal audit, risk management or data analytics

Familiarity with accounting principles and standards and/or business organisation and processes

Familiarity with data / information architectures and/or database management

Understanding of internal audit techniques

Ability to communicate straight forward concepts and information in written and spoken English. Other languages are useful

Expert user of MS Excel, Access, and/or data analytcis tools

Ability to use SAP in the execution of audit assignment tasks

Knowledge of SAP data structures a significant plus
