Indirect Tax Specialist (part time 32 hrs a week)

An international US-listed company with EMEA HQ in The Netherlands is looking for a (part time) Indirect Tax Specialist

Take ownership of the Group's VAT position (30+ VAT entities)- identify key risks and opportunities, successfully manage significant projects to reduce the overall VAT cost;

Ensure all entities (companies, branches, etc) in the assigned regions comply with their indirect tax obligations and optimise tax costs;

Be a centre of competence for indirect tax matters of the Group: handling VAT work for the European organization;

Serving as the main contact for external and internal VAT questions;

Keep informed and abreast of new and pending tax legislation and regulations, court decisions etc. concerning the entities' activities, and analyse them for new compliance requirements and planning opportunities;

accountancy/tax Bachelor and/or Master degree;

5 years experience in an EU related VAT environment;
