Recruitment Specialist for qualified professionals Finance | Audit | GRC

A fast growing multi national is looking for a Head of Accounting for their European HQ. The position is highly visible in the organization, with exposure to senior management in HQ. The position is a stepping stone to more senior Finance roles in the Netherlands, HQ or in one of other operating markets.

Day to Day Management of the following General Accounting Activities:

Process Leader driving fully documented, standardized Month End Close Process

Owns preparing local team for Annual Audit Activities

Replacement and second hand of Finance Leader

Proven experience developing and implementing best practice that resulted in a world class financial department

Excellent knowledge of assessing, developing and implementing internal controls

Solid analytical, conceptual and quantitative skills

A demonstrated sense of urgency in order to respond to situations quickly and decisively

Must be flexible but “results-focused” and able to deal with multiple changes to information as well as direction being received from a variety of sources and personalities

5 plus years finance experience preferably in a MFG environment or Big 4

Experience in an international business environment is a must

Excellent English language skills, both oral and written

Great developer of staff and excellent communication skills

Superior controllership skills and knowledge of internal controls

Ability to grow in the organization; internal mobile
