Logistics Coördinator

Are you a driven logistics leader who keeps a clear overview on a dynamic shop floor? You will be working for one of our clients in Hoofddorp, an active player in international logistics services.

As a Hands-On Logistics Coordinator, you are the heartbeat of the operation. You start your day in the early or late shift with a quick alignment meeting to divide the daily tasks. Next, you guide your team on the floor, monitor progress, and ensure a safe working environment. Do incoming shipments pile up or peak hours kick in? You roll up your sleeves, jump on the forklift or reach truck, and actively pitch in. Additionally, you communicate with internal departments, update logistics data in the WMS system, and keep international contacts up to date. A varied role where no two days are the same!

Werkzaamheden:

• Daily leading, coaching, and motivating a team of approximately 12 logistics team members.
• Ensuring efficient work planning, optimal task distribution, and a safe working environment.
• Actively assisting in the warehouse during peak moments (inbound and outbound goods).
• Moving goods safely and smoothly using a forklift and/or reach truck.
• Processing, checking, and managing logistics data in the WMS system.
• Liaising and communicating with internal departments and international contacts.

Wij zoeken:

• Proven experience in leading and inspiring a team (around 10–15 team members).
• Relevant work experience in logistics and demonstrated experience operating a forklift and/or reach truck.
• Hands-on experience working with a WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• A no-nonsense mindset: you coordinate tightly and step in immediately whenever needed.

• An attractive monthly salary ranging between €3,171.82 and €4,173.91 gross per month (based on 40 hours) depending on your experience.
• A full-time workweek from Monday through Friday in a alternating two-shift system (06:30 – 15:30 and 10:30 – 19:00).
