She Matters is an impact driven organisation supporting women in all their diversity, with a strong focus on refugee women rebuilding their lives through access to skills, work, and opportunity.
Alongside our programmes, we run funding initiatives that help sustain our work. One of these is the She Matters Impact Shop, a live ecommerce project that resells donated beauty products. The website plays a key role in how our work, our shop, and our impact are communicated and accessed.
As Website, Content & SEO Intern, you support the structure, accuracy, and discoverability of She Matters’ website, with a strong focus on the Impact Shop as a live learning environment.
You’ll work hands on with website content, basic SEO, and Shopify management, learning how small changes affect user experience, search visibility, and performance. You’ll also see how website work connects to campaigns, analytics, and operational realities. You’ll work closely with the Founder & CEO and other interns.
Updating and maintaining website and product content
Supporting site structure and navigation improvements
Checking content accuracy across key pages
Supporting campaign or launch pages from a content and website perspective
You’re enrolled in a university or applied sciences programme and eligible for internship credit
You have a strong interest in websites, content, SEO, and social impact
You’re comfortable learning CMS tools like Shopify
You’re detail oriented and care about accuracy and structure
You communicate clearly and are open to feedback to learn and grow
Practical experience working on a real website and ecommerce project
Exposure to how content and SEO support impact driven work
Close guidance and feedback from the Founder & CEO
Collaboration with a small, motivated intern team
