PR Ambassador – Student Association Salaam

Do you have a creative side and are you not really sure how to implement it in your life? Do you want to engage with your faith while also contribute to a greater cause? Are you open to learning and developing new skills? Then Salaam is looking for you!

You will work closely with the PR team which currently consists of 5 other members. Together with your teammates you will be responsible of creating graphic designs for the PR team. These designs are to stand us out to the outside world that may consists out of logo designs, poster designs, banner designs, merch designs etc. Besides, together with your teammates you will be responsible of creating new contents for the Salaam social media that is within the Islamic standards. There should be more interactivity on our social media page with the members and visitors. The time commitment is around 4 hours a week.

We would also like to remind you that every ounce of effort you put into organizing an event that helps another Muslim to seek knowledge, will be of benefit for you on the Day of Judgement. May Allah accept our efforts and purify our intentions.

Firstly, we will test your creativity by designing Eid cards for the next Eid. From there you will be creating more contents for the PR team.

Promoting our events, videos and merchandise in a creative way.

You are independent, but you also work well in a team.

You have basic knowledge or willing to learn the required programs and tools.

You have basic knowledge or willing to learn the required programs and tools such as Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, After effects.

An active team that works hard and supports each other where necessary.

Broadening your network and getting to know other Muslim students.
