Petbnb is a platform that has helped connect thousands of pet owners with trusted local pet lovers who want to look after their pet. We make it easy to book cat sitting, dog walking, doggy day care and dog boarding whenever it’s needed.

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Apps Engineer to join our Product and Engineering Team, to lead our Android and iOS app development efforts.

You will develop highly performant and simple to use mobile apps and ensure that these are robust and easy to maintain.

Our product team is multidisciplinary with design, frontend and backend engineering combined. We are passionate about building highly scalable, reliable, high performance products.

Minimum 3+ years of app development experience.

Experience with at least one native mobile platform.

You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check.

You know how to communicate with GraphQL/RESTful APIs.

Experience with styleguide-driven development.

You are effective at communicating design/engineering trade-offs to product managers and designers.

Contributions to the open source community are a plus
