Remote Ruby on Rails developer

development of our product. We all work together, from support and consultants to developers, to

ensure Jaamo continually improves and helping our clients during the process. We believe that in the

core you should enjoy what you do, and by the end of the day we mostly finish with a smile.

Working remotely, you’ll start your day with coffee or tea and join the development team in working

on the sprint. You’ll know exactly what to expect in the coming week, as your team assembled the

sprint together. You’ll tackle bugs, discuss feature-building strategies with your teammates, and

dive into your code. Collaboration is key, so you’ll connect with your fellow developers whenever

needed for support. We also value having fun, so there’s plenty of laughter and team spirit

throughout the day. By the end of each day, your efforts will have made Jaamo a better, safer, and

Minimum 3 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.

Based in Europe (for ease of collaboration within similar time zones).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with working in a Scrum environment.

Self-starter, with the ability to take ownership and work independently.

Experience with RSpec, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, OAuth2 API, Git.

Experience with Android, iOS, and AWS is a plus.

Flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within Europe or the UK, with occasional

opportunities to meet the team in person.
