Job Description Cluster General Manager - Hostels

As Cluster General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for three locations in Amsterdam. You will lead the Hostel Managers across the different properties and be accountable for operational performance, team development, and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day operations across three hospitality locations;
• Leading, coaching, and developing the Hostel Managers and wider management team;
• Inspiring and developing teams while fostering a strong, people-focused culture;
• Ensuring an exceptional guest experience and consistently high guest satisfaction;
• Optimising operational processes and contributing to an efficient, future-focused organisation;
• Playing an active role in the continued growth, professionalisation, and innovation of the business;
• Leading the successful expansion and refurbishment of one of the locations;
• Reporting directly to the Group Operations Manager and working closely with the international head office.

Requirements

Who are you?

• You have extensive experience as a General Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within the hospitality industry;
• You are a natural leader who knows how to motivate, develop, and inspire people;
• You are independent, decisive, and thrive in an international working environment;
• You have a strong affinity with technology and enjoy identifying opportunities to optimise processes while maintaining an exceptional guest experience;
• You have excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is considered an advantage but is not required.
