Do you know better than anyone how to successfully complete technical projects within a high-tech manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy collaborating with clients, engineers, and production on innovative technical solutions? Then this Technical Project Manager position in Veendam is for you!

In your role as Technical Project Manager, you lead the entire process from quotation to service delivery. The account manager handles the initial customer contact, after which you take over the process once the quotation becomes an order.

You work with clients in the industrial electronics and high-tech sectors, with contacts ranging from technicians to purchasing agents. You work on both new product developments and improvements to existing high-tech solutions.

After transfer, you will finalize the technical specifications and establish a clear schedule. You will discuss the methodology, pricing, and delivery times with the client. You will work on multiple technical projects simultaneously, varying in scope and complexity, while considering manufacturability, quality, and production capacity.

You are the linchpin of the project and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You gather the right information beforehand and monitor the progress of all technical projects.

You check engineering drawings for completeness and coordinate with all involved parties. For technical issues, you bring together the right people, such as clients, account management, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), and production.

You independently analyze specifications, bills of material (BOM), and design files before scheduling meetings. This way, you identify risks in planning, costs, and engineering early on. Upon completion, you will deliver the project with a production report, customer documentation, and provide technical after-sales and support.

You are a proactive and structured technical project manager who effortlessly juggles multiple projects simultaneously. You are a strong communicator and know how to bring different interests together. You address people when necessary, but always in a respectful and connecting manner. You feel at home in a professional high-tech environment.

Affinity for technology and/or the high-tech industry

Experience with technical project management is a plus

Residing within commuting distance of Veendam

Immediate permanent contract possible (32-40 hours)

27 vacation days and 13 adv days based on full-time employment
