For our location in Heerlen (NL) and Jülich (DE), we are looking for a

NPROXX is a global leader in designing, developing and manufacturing Type 4 pressure vessels for the storage of hydrogen under high pressure. Based on 40-year experience in carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) products and systems in various industries NPROXX provides composite tank systems and tailor-made solutions for hydrogen storage applications: Transport and storage (up to 1000 bar), Heavy duty vehicles (350 bar), Automotive (700 bar).

NPROXX has its head office in Heerlen (the Netherlands) and its manufacturing organization in Jülich (Germany), in mid-2023 we relocate to Alsdorf (Germany). NPROXX, originally a split-off from Enrichment Technology Company (ETC), is presently an independent B.V., owned for 50% by ETC and for 50% by Cummins Inc.

NPROXX is looking for an experienced Plant / Cost Controller for its plant in Jülich/Alsdorf. The Jülich organization has roughly 120 employees, including factory operators and staff functions. The position reports to the CFO of NPROXX BV.

Support of manufacturing and inventory accounting including variance analysis;

Challenging and driving continuous improvement of existing processes through optimization, standardization and stability;

Controlling of the various departments within NPROXX Jülich/Alsdorf GmbH, in particular production and order processing

Internal control and compliance: ensure that all activities are handled in line with the internal controls requirements and provide support during internal and external audits;

Corporate with the Operations and Logistics to improve visibility on KPI’s like product costing, overhead, labor efficiency/utilization, under and over absorption analysis, Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Production Order Variance (POV);

Operational financial support including detailed manufacturing variances analysis and calculation, reporting and follow up on cost price developments;

Prepare investment (CAPEX) appraisals, ensure a financial follow-up during execution and compare actual achievements with initial capex appraisal;

Provide ad hoc businesses analysis where needed to support the business;

Support budgeting and estimating processes for entire factory that covers, Value Chain (Sales & Operations planning), Manufacturing, Quality, OPEX, Facilities, HSE, Supply Chain Management;

Lead in improving current Inventory control processes including cycle count program, Monthly Physical count, Scrapping and E&O (Excess and Obsolete).

Degree qualified (HBO, University) in a relevant discipline (Finance & Accounting, Business, etc.) with previous experience working as cost controller, preferably in a technical manufacturing environment.

5+ years relevant Controlling/accounting experience.

Broad background in activities such as business planning and cost control, costing and setting up Bill of Materials, controlling & monitoring, creating clear and insightful forecasts, setting up clear financial reporting to management.

Strong communication skills and highly analytical and decisive with the ability to build effective working relationships within a project organization.

Proven practical leadership experience, and strong financial coaching ability towards organization.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, administrative and organizational skills.

Has experience in working with SAP4HANA, Excel and PowerPoint.

Seeking optimization and continuous improvement.

Stress resistant and well organized, hands-on, can-do mentality.

Good communication skills in English and German is required (spoken and written). Dutch is a plus.

Experience in a start-up desirable (is a plus).

Lives in the area or willing to relocate.

The incumbent reports directly to the CFO of the company and has a small group of direct reports (3-4 pers.).
