Are you a Senior Accountant  who likes to work within an internationally Hotels & Ressorts Group with financial operations in the Netherlands? You will have the opportunity to be part of Sandy Leisures BV, Dutch entity that is part of one of the most important Hotel & Resorts Group in Mexico, which is TAFER Hotels & Resorts Group. For Sandy Leisures, known from Tafer Hotels & Resorts Group, we are looking for a full-time Senior Financial Accountant/Controller.

Reporting, budgeting, accounting, financial reports, cash flow/expenditures.

Managing the financial accounting, P&L, BS, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and all accounting matters DUTCH GAAP.

Liaising with auditors to ensure the annual monitoring is carried out.

Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.

Prepare and monitor a monthly cash flow statement.

Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly and yearly budget.

Review monthly A/P invoices and prepare all necessary wire transfers for approval.

Prepare ad hoc reporting, including note portfolio performance and foreclosure reports.

Coordinate year end reporting and tax filing requirements with management company

Prepare financial statements monthly (Balance Sheet / Income Statement)

Knowledge of Transaction Monitoring and WWFT

Review CIT returns prepared by external tax advisors.

Approx. 5 years accounting experience in senior accounting position

Understanding of legal, compliance and corporate environment

Capable of interacting with a range of diverse stakeholders

Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Exact Online Accounting software

English speaking role. A good level of Dutch is appreciated (Spanish is an advantage)

A salary between €5000 and €5500 per month based on 40 hours

A discretionary annual bonus up to €12000

Health insurance allowance of €140 per month

As Senior Accountant of Sandy Leisures BV you will work in a team as well as independently in an international environment. Our offices are located in Schiphol – the Base. The team consists of 6 people of which 3 are stablished in the Netherlands on a permanent basis. The team usually works remotely and has physical meetings 3 or 4 times per month.
