Group Financial controller | Locatie: Friesland

Our client is a company in transition, new ERP systems are build and the finance function needs more professionalization and structure and clear processes. To help our client to achieve this goal, Hef Associaties is looking for a Group Financial Controller.

The Group Financial Controller (GFC)is coordinating the group consolidation and maintains contact with local controllers and administrators of the worldwide branches.

The GFC is responsible for the delivery and analysis of the consolidated financial and is. reporting to the Group Controller .

The goal is to provide the Business Controller and Business Leaders with timely, concise, and accurate management information, thereby enabling them to make decisions supported by the correct data. Furthermore, the GFC is the holding controller and therefore act as the financial counterpart to the manager of the staff departments.

Deliver financial and non-financial consolidated figures and manage the reporting packs for actuals, budget and year end reporting.

Manage and Optimize working capital structure.

Continuously improve the treasury processes and participate in improvement projects.

Financial control activities for the staff departments.

Master’s degree in either Accounting or Economics supplemented by at least 5 years of relevant work experience.

Understanding  of financial close and consolidation tooling.

A good communicator with a strong analytical skillset who is able to manage and influence  the organization while not being the formal manager.

knowledge on treasury topics, such as: international cash management, cash flow forecasting, risk management (liquidity, FX, interest).
