Functional Consultant - Microsoft D365 Business Central (Dutch Speaking)

We are seeking a Functional consultant position to join our client, preferably a graduate/postgraduate in the Finance field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Business Central solutions to meet clients’ business needs. The role requires a deep understanding of financials, supply chain, manufacturing, project management, taxation and other business processes, along with expertise in Business Central's capabilities.

As a candidate for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant , you're a functional consultant or a business user with a fundamental understanding of Finance/Accounting/Taxation/Compliance standards. You need to have experience in configuring and implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet the needs of your client’s organization. You're a key resource and a solution architect who works with developers, project managers, and functional consultants in finance, commerce, and manufacturing .

Lead workshops with key users and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.

Conduct business process analysis and document process flows.

Configure and support data migration, ensuring smooth adoption by Dutch-speaking users.

Facilitate testing and CRP sessions, guiding users through validation activities.

Deliver training and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Support cutover planning, final data migration, and go-live execution.

Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including issue resolution.

Develop process documentation and work instructions in Dutch.

Manage and coordinate change requests and small enhancements with internal teams/partners.

5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central across multiple modules (Finance, Project Operation, Manufacturing, Trade & Logistics, etc.).

Native/fluent Dutch with strong knowledge of Dutch localization.

Proficiency in English for internal collaboration.

Nice to have: Experience with Continia , idyn , or similar add-ons.

Collaborate closely with internal lead consultants (English-speaking).

Fluency in Dutch (end users) and English (internal collaboration) is mandatory.
