Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a technically skilled specialist who is able to work with complex 2D and 3D technical drawings and ensure high-precision production.

The position requires in-depth knowledge of metal properties and the ability to independently set up machines, adjust CNC parameters (especially Trumpf NC code), and manage automated loading sequences.

In addition to technical skills in working with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers), we are looking for someone with attention to detail who can maintain a high quality standard (“no further adjustments needed”) and is able to solve minor software or mechanical issues.

The ideal candidate has experience in the mechanical or technical industry, is capable of optimizing cutting plans (nesting), and minimizing material waste.

An education at mid-level, preferably in shipbuilding

Are you in possession of a valid VCA or VCA-Vol certificate

Must be able to communicate with the employee in Dutch or English

Demonstrable work experience as a Ship Metal Worker

Experience with reading drawings, measuring and marking

Experience with tack welding, grinding and burning

Secondary education (no school-leaving exam required)

Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field

2–5 years (medior level) or more than 5 years of experience preferred

Ability to read and work with technical drawings

Experience with Trumpf or Bystronic systems

Strong technical background in metal processing / machining environment

Monthly vacation allowance of approximately 130 EUR

Health care contribution of approximately 120 EUR per month

Total of approximately 2840 EUR net for basic hours per month

Transportation allowance of 0.19 EUR/km for commuting with own vehicle

€720–€760 per week for 40 basic hours (including StiPP pension contribution), depending on experience, independence, and language skills

Approx. €110 per month healthcare allowance

Total from approx. €3,100 net per month for basic hours

Free accommodation in single rooms, SNF-certified
