As part of the dynamic Siemens Energy Sustainability team, you will make an important contribution to the energy transition by building a solid foundation for sustainability management: setting up an ESG data strategy, continuously developing our sustainability program and being the key contact for ESG risk management. In your role, you will work with highly-skilled individuals from various Functions and the Business. You will experience varied workdays that combine individual work and teamwork. You can flexibly organize your working hours and work both on-site as well as remote.

You are responsible for the continuous development of the Sustainability Program and targets ins close collaboration with other teams

Within the existing ESG data landscape, you will develop an ESG data strategy in close collaboration with other Functions

You will be the key contact for our internal Data Management tool

You will be responsible for monitoring ESG risks e.g. within our Enterprise Risk Management or for external reporting

You contribute to strategic projects to integrate ESG in operations

Masters degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Sustainability or a comparable field of study

Several years of experience in sustainability or related fields in large companies or consultancies

Strong understanding of sustainability issues, trends, and best practices as well as ESG risks and how to manage them

Knowledge of relevant sustainability concepts and reporting standards (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy, TCFD,…), experience in the field of ESG reporting

Ability to lead virtual and international teams across hierarchies, project management skills as well as proficiency in data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting processes

Fluent in English, German language skills would be a plus
