As a Project Manager at Newcold, you will be a member of our team committed to advancing global energy initiatives. Your role will focus on three main areas: concept design of renewable energy integration, contractor selection and contract negotiations, and the preparation of business cases and capital expenditure requests, culminating in the management of the implementation process. Utilizing your knowledge of renewable energy technologies, you will contribute to the design and setup of our energy parks, guiding decision-making processes across various projects.

In this position, you will oversee the development and execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives. You will lead the integration of renewable energy solutions, select and negotiate with contractors, and manage project implementation from inception to completion. Your responsibilities include preparing comprehensive business cases and capital expenditure requests to support project funding and resource allocation.

Develop and conceptualize designs for integrating renewable energy technologies into existing and new infrastructures.

Lead the selection and negotiation processes with contractors and vendors for renewable energy projects.

Prepare comprehensive business cases and capital expenditure requests to support project funding and resource allocation.

Oversee the implementation of renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.

Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute insights to company strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.

Mandatory deep knowledge of principles, practices and theories within the field of Electrical Engineering.

+5 years experience in Project Management of renewable energy projects.

Experience in selecting contractors, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Proficiency in preparing business cases, capital expenditure requests, budgeting, and financial forecasting for large-scale projects.

Experience with the design, setup, and implementation of energy parks or similar large-scale renewable energy installations.

Familiarity with current market trends, technological advancements, and innovations in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors.

Ability to prioritize and high level of organizational skills.

Strong intercultural communication skills.

Highly proficient in English, any other European language is a plus
