How did Alina integrate into the international company?

Alina's journey is a testament to the power of determination, passion, and the pursuit of excellence. Every day, she pushes her own boundaries of what is possible.

Two years ago, Alina embarked on an exciting adventure when she joined DynamicWeb as the student worker German Marketing Coordinator while studying at Aarhus University.

Reflecting on her journey, she recalls the moment she stumbled upon the job post in a Facebook group and immediately called her mother to express her determination: "This is my chance, let's do this!"

Within an hour, Alina was talking on the phone with the German Country Manager, Paul Britzke, and shortly after was invited for her first online interview, followed by a second interview at the company's Headquarters.

Recalling her initial weeks at DynamicWeb, Alina chuckles and admits, "I was overwhelmed with everything. I didn't even have a clear understanding of what eCommerce was. Although I was studying business, my knowledge of marketing was very limited."

She describes how her colleagues in the team stepped up to teach, guide, and mentor her: “I was improving every single day, and I still am”, she says.

Curious to know how Alina determines if she is performing her tasks correctly, we asked her about her approach. "When I try new things for the first time, they may not always work out as expected. But I learn from my mistakes and try again", Alina explains.

When Alina started at DynamicWeb, it was just her and Paul on the German team. Paul eventually became the Country Manager for the DACH region.

“It's really cool that he is young (25) as well, I don't feel uncomfortable to ask him questions, advice or go with a problem to him”, Alina says.

Now the German team has grown to 4 employees. “We are a good fit together, I like working with these guys.”

One of the most exciting aspects of Alina's role is the opportunity to travel and attend conferences and fairs.

Recently, she had the chance to visit the OMR Festival in Hamburg with her team, where the German Digital / Marketing world gathers once a year.

Alina believes these events offer a valuable chance to network and gain valuable insights from knowledge-sharing with industry leaders.

She also vividly remembers multiple trips to the DynamicWeb office in Berlin, for conferences and team building.

Alina expresses her gratitude for these experiences and opportunities she has encountered in her two years at DynamicWeb, stating, "I have been working here for two years now and still can't believe I can travel and experience so many different things", she says.
