Shift Leader Quality Herbs 3-Shifts

Are you a natural leader with a passion for quality and fresh products? For a client in Venlo, we are looking for a motivated Shift Leader Quality. In this position, you are responsible for leading the Quality Control team and ensuring that all fresh herbs meet the highest quality standards. You will work within an international and fast-growing company specialized in fresh herbs and natural seasonings.

What will you do?

• Lead and support the Quality Control team during daily operations;
• Monitor the quality of incoming, stored, and outgoing fresh herbs;
• Ensure all products meet the required quality standards;
• Inform departments about quality-related issues and inspection results;
• Decide whether products are approved, rejected, or partially usable;
• Handle administrative processing and quality reporting;
• Coach and guide colleagues during weighing and packing activities;
• Supervise the correct packaging quality during production;
• Perform final inspections for important customer orders;
• Work closely with departments such as Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Sales;
• Identify improvement opportunities within the quality process and help implement solutions;
• Prepare action points and discuss improvements during daily meetings.

What will you bring

• Experience in Quality Control or Quality Inspection;
• Leadership experience within production or food industry is a plus;
• A critical eye and a positive attitude;
• Affinity with fresh food products;
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
• A structured and accurate working style;
• Ability to motivate and coach a team;
• Good command of the English language (minimum B1 level);
• Speaking Dutch or Polish is a plus;
• A proactive and hands-on mentality.
