Press Brake Operator

Are you looking for a challenging position as a press brake operator, where you can start working immediately? For our client in Venlo, an international company specialised in mushroom growing and composting technology, we are looking for an enthusiastic press brake operator. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the press brake machines. You will ensure that the machines function optimally and that the set production targets are met.

What do we offer?

• Salary between €2.750 and €3.500 gross per month;
• Day shift work from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 07:00/07:30 to 15:45/16:15 (Monday to Thursday) and on Friday from 07:00/07:30 to 14:45/15:15;
• Solid terms of employment according to the Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry;
• Opportunity to develop yourself further and grow within the organisation;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre;
• You will be employed by the company immediately.

What will you do?

• Independently setting up the press brake (with modern LVD and Safan controls) based on technical drawings and work instructions;
• Producing structural parts from steel, stainless steel and aluminium using a CNC-controlled machine, mainly in series production. This can range from aluminium air ducts to parts for both fine and heavy machine construction;
• Determining the correct work sequence, choosing the correct working method, dimensions and tools based on the drawings;
• Checking your own work accurately to ensure that the products meet the set quality standards.

What will you bring?

• MBO working and thinking level;
• Some experience gained in a construction company;
• Familiarity with CNC control techniques, various sheet metal working processes and reading technical drawings;
• Strong spatial insight;
• Good command of the Dutch language;
• Independent, precise working attitude with strong communication skills.
