Vacature bestuurslid – Dierenambulance Groningen Ga naar inhoud

Dierenambulance Groningen zoekt bestuurslid met een hart voor dieren.

Dierenambulance Groningen (DAG) verleent eerste hulp aan gewonde dieren van stad tot wad. Dat doen we door 24 uur per dag klaar te staan voor de dieren met professioneel opgeleide vrijwilligers.

Het bestuur treedt op als een faciliterend bestuur en zij ondersteunt en controleert de manager van de DAG. Het bestuur legt verantwoording af aan de leden van de vereniging. Het bestuur vergadert zeven tot tien keer per jaar. De tijdsinvestering is gemiddeld vier uur per maand en de functie is onbezoldigd.

DAG zoekt een enthousiast bestuurslid met een hart voor dieren. Bestuurlijke ervaring is een pré, maar dat hoeft niet. Jouw vakgebied maakt niet uit, als je maar affiniteit hebt met de organisatie en de vrijwilligers die bij ons werken. De dierenambulance is geen commercieel bedrijf en we hechten grote waarde aan de ontwikkeling van onze vrijwilligers. We zien graag dat je een actief en breed netwerk met je meebrengt.

Een mooie vereniging van betrokken mensen die zich inzetten voor dieren. Het bestuur kent een informele sfeer met goede onderlinge verhoudingen. Eens per jaar is er een etentje voor de vrijwilligers en een open dag voor de leden en geïnteresseerden. Inbreng wordt gewaardeerd, er is veel ruimte voor ideeën en suggesties ter verbetering. Een belangrijke nevendoelstelling van DAG is om tijdelijke werk- of stageplekken aan te bieden aan mensen met een achterstand op de arbeidsmarkt en hen kansen te bieden om werkervaring op te doen. Naast de dieren, zet het bestuur zich ook in voor de ontwikkeling van vrijwilligers.
