COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – Update for Candidates

The health and safety of our members, clients and candidates is a top priority for us at CGI. We have many practices in place to ensure that we keep our workplaces healthy.

In light of the current environment, we are allowing flexibility to hold interviews by telephone or video conference, along with in-person interviews at our offices.

As a potential guest visiting our CGI offices, we have the same guidelines in place that we have for our members and suppliers:

Individuals, who have recently travelled internationally to COVID-19 affected regions, need to monitor themselves for symptoms. If any symptoms emerge, members and candidates must refrain from entering CGI premises or client-site premises until the symptoms cease and a health care provider has confirmed that the individual is not or is no longer carrying the virus. We ask that you please immediately communicate with your CGI point of contact.

Any candidates visiting CGI offices, (or CGI client sites) who have travelled to any of the affected regions identified by WHO and have had physical contact with anyone who is known to have COVID-19, should refrain from entering CGI’s premises or our clients’ premises for a period of 14 days following such contact and communicate with your CGI point of contact.

If a candidate is diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of visiting CGI’s premises or CGI clients’ premises, please advise your CGI point of contact immediately.
