Internship Corporate Broking & Issuer Services

You are a result oriented team player with IT knowledge who is interested to learn more about Markets in general and in particular Corporate Broking & Issuer Services. Our customers are publicly listed client in North Western Europe, which are seeking for innovative and solid IT solutions. Within Corporate Broking & Issuer Services we offer a broad range of products and IT solutions. On the back of these IT solutions, we provide advisory services with the aim to become the trusted advisor to publicly listed clients. In the Netherlands we are market leader in the issuer services area. We have the ambition to become market leader in our neighboring countries as well, whereby we would like to differentiate our product offering by offering digital solutions to publicly listed clients. Concerning this, we are seeking for an intern who can help us with that.

Corporate Broking & Issuer Services is a dynamic team. Their activity is mainly offering issuer services to publicly listed clients in North Western Europe. One can think of, assisting companies with their first listing on Euronext (IPO) or  a merger, but also more daily driven activities such as assisting companies with their Annual General Meeting, Dividend/Coupon/Redemption payments and shareholder identification. 

You will be responsible for assisting the team with their day to day activity with a key focus on the various IT tools which we are offering to publicly listed clients. You will need to build the bridge between IT and the business (the Corporate Broking & Issuer Services Team) with a result oriented client focus. Furthermore, you will need to look further at automation of various processes.
 

The department Corporate Broking & Issuer Services is part of the market leading Equity Capital Markets team in the Benelux. There is a professional working environment with direct colleagues who are flexible and do not adhere to a strict nine to five activity.  

You are a professional with the ambition to win. You can translate client needs to requirements and vice versa. You have an IT oriented background and have proven Excel, Power BI and Phyton skills.  You should be able to perform data analysis with Excel, Power BI and Phython. One can think of data manipulation with Pandas, data cleaning and preprocessing, data visualization, creating charts, using slicer, PowerBI maps etc.

You have an academic work level and know a bit about financial markets. In addition you have good communication skills and like to work in a dynamic/entrepreneurial environment. We are sometimes compared as a start up within a bank.
